Hello....what did you say??

This one's special. I was talking to my aunt who usually calls me up early morning on Saturdays. Groggy and sleepy I answered my phone. After the usual casual talk she asked me what did I get from my parents in the package I received from India during the week. She said, " Wow, I'm sure you must be very happy. Did your mom send anything to eat?" By now the sleep inducing chemicals kicked in again and I said, "Yeaaah (yawn), I din want it........(yawn again)..... yet she sent me khakras and kachoris (gujurati snacks) (I almost dozed off here....zzzzzz......)". In a shocked tone she replied, "What???? Ghagra and choli??? Is everything OK Aniruddh?"

I was stunned and laughing my ass out at the same time! Next time decided to talk with a cup of coffee in my hand.

A joke that was never meant to be....

I recollect the good old engineering days sometimes and the last 15 days before the exam, when all the cramming and nervous preparation went in to secure the 40+ score! Phew!! I'm sharing one of the most funny moments that occured at a time when everyone's brains were almost super-saturated after almost 12 hours of studying in varied supine postures! LOL!

Suddenly one of the guys went bonkers over a girl whom he thought was a big time theif. A gossip at this hour called for a much needed break. He said, " Pata nahin yaar, kab dekha toh mera pen, calci, eraser (rubber!LOL) ......maangti rehti hai, lautayega kaun, uska baap??!" I began, "Usko KT lagi hai yaar!". I really don't know why I said that. No connection, no relation, no nothing! I saw a few faces looking straight at me as if I came up with a new revelation. I followed up, " Abe, ATKT....Allowed To Keep Things".......................................................

I was surprised to know that was a good one.....saved my ass too. LOL.
